Occupational standard is the normative requirements of work capacity whichrequire practitioners,according to occupation’s content.It can solve the problem of “academicdrift” on curriculum in higher vocational education,and problem of personnel training losecontact with social needs in a certain extent,while higher vocational curriculum connects withoccupational standard,and mix together occupational standard.Providing a new thinking forrenform the higher vocational curriculum.This thesis draws on the curriculum reformexperiences of overseas and domestic, carrying out a pilot study about occupational standardtranslated into higher vocational curriculum structure and contents in means and procedures,which under the direction of curriculum theory,the view on work-orientedknowwledge,practice learning,lifelong education theory etc.The whole thesis consists of three parts,they are:introducation,main body andconclusion.The introduction lays out the core concept definition,the basic issues of aim andmeaning,literature review,research structure and method.The main boby includes fivesections:The first section collates the current situation of higher vocational curriculum in brief,elaborates the problem of higher vocational curriculum at development style,structure,contentand assessment standards.In order to bring out the occupational standard,this section haveanalysed the reason that produce the problems from three aspects:ordinary higher educationcurriculum, industry and enterprise,higher vocational college.The second section proves the effectiveness when draw occupational standard into highervocational curriculum through theory basis and practice foundation,including philosophy,psychology, pedagogy basis,and curriculum reform experiences of overseas and domestic.The third section layouts four principles of curriculum reform,they are:the principle ofsystematicness,comprehensive vocational abilities standard,work-integrated learning,comprehensive quality education link with specialty education.This part also discuss the trainof thoughts that guide “the curriculum reform in higher technical and vocational educationbased on occupational standard”.The fourth section,ground on the principle and train of thoughts above-mentioned, begins with introduce “curriculumization” and “make occupational standard becomingcurriculum”,Integrate “the national occupational standard of vehicle maintenance worker”with “vehicle maintenance and repaire techniques specialty” to expound the practice operationwhich occupational standard translated into the higher vocational curriculum structure andcontent.The fifth section starts with renew idea,build educational resources,teachers,organization,and dual-certificate policy to tallk about the measurments that keep the practice operationrunning smoothly.The fourth and fifth sections are cores of this thesis,forming the main body of strategythat curriculum reform in higher technical and vocational education based on occupationalstandard together.The last part is conclusion which reaffirms the author’s standpoint and shows theauthor’s limitations and hopes in the future.
