In the era of knowledge economy, encouraging the undergraduates to start their own business is not only an important channel for obtaining employment, but also a necessary way for economic development and job creating. Especially in the increasingly competitive society today, entrepreneurship is also a useful attempt to realize their own values. Therefore, in order to adapt to the development of higher education and the advancement of the country’s economic strength, universities should take part in fostering the entrepreneurship awareness of undergraduates, and actively guide students in the accumulation of entrepreneurial skills, encourage students to practice entrepreneurship. In that case, what about the entrepreneurship awareness of undergraduates? This article begins with Northeastern University undergraduate awareness survey; and a detailed analysis of the current Northeastern University undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness to continue, in order to give some guiding information on the entrepreneurship education.This paper mainly consists of four parts. The first part is Introduction, telling the purpose of this study and significance of research methods, as well as innovation, and related literature reviewed. The second part is the general introduction on the undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness research, including the definition of basic concepts; the history and current situation of undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness research, the basic content of research, as well as the necessity of entrepreneurship awareness research. The third part is the survey result of the Northeastern University undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness. The fourth part is the survey analysis of the Northeastern University undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness, based on the gender, major, family economic status, as well as grade dimensions to tell the differences. The fifth part is the conclusion part.The article mainly uses a questionnaire survey, comparative analysis, and statistical analysis methods, on the basic view of undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness, the attitude and analysis on the entrepreneurship environment, the requirement of entrepreneurship and the ideal entrepreneurship orientation four aspects, in the way of empirical study on the Northeastern University undergraduate entrepreneurship awareness to conduct a comprehensive and systematic research as well as some certain innovative opinion.
