During the early Republic of China,Chang Tso-lin ruled the Northeast of China,the Northeastern economy made a great progress.The economic development needs a lot of professionals,but there is no university that belongs to chinese in this area.In order to go to college,many students went to Bejing-Tianjin area or went toMedical and Technical University instablished by Japan.It was inconvenient to go to college.In this case,Finance Minister Wang Yongjiang and Education Minister Hsieh Chang advised Chang Tso-lin to build the Northeastern University.Chang Tso-lin agreed to this advice.However,because of lacking of money,the engineering construction of University made slow progress.Thanks to Chang Hsueh-Liang's donation,campus construction was able to guarantee the quality and the speed.Northeastern University is the first university in modern Northeast of China,so the construction process received wide attention.Full text is divided into four parts: the first part describes the background of campus construction.The second part discusses the preparation of Northeastern University campus' construction.The third part describes the Northeastern University campus' construction process.The forth part is about the evaluation of Northeastern University campus' construction.In short,this article focuses on the Northeastern University campus infrastructure aspects,tries to clarify Northeastern University campus construction processand evaluate the advantages and disadvantages in the university campus construction process.Finally,this article explores the reference significance of the construction of Northeastern University to other universities.
