Studies Of The Resource-raising Mode For Social Assistance By Grass-roots Voluntary Organization

The population of our country is large, but the resources are limited. Therefore, there are lots of people who are in need of social assistance in our country. It is hard to meet their need if we just rely on the government’s power. The social assistance resources’supply needs the participation of social force. Grass-roots voluntary organizations have special function and advantages in raising social assistance resources. They can mobilize and centralize the dispersive social assistance resources to help disadvantaged group get out of the difficulties, and safeguard the social justice, stability and harmony. Raising social assistance resources is a process in need of art, strategy, specialized knowledge and skills. The resource-raising mode is very important.This thesis makes the resource-raising mode for social assistance by grass-roots voluntary organization as a research object. Through the literature analysis, the author analyzes the realistic background of resource-raising for social assistance by grass-roots voluntary organization, and looks for the theory basis for perfecting the resource-raising mode. Through the investigation, the author summarizes the general situation of resource-raising for social assistance by grass-roots voluntary organization; the kind of resource-raising mode; the characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and applicability of each resource-raising mode. The author selects typical cases to discuss the efficient resource-raising mode; find the problems of them and analyzes the reason. Finally, according to the theoretical and empirical research results, the author proposes countermeasures and suggestions to prefer the resource-raising mode. The author hopes this study can have some good effects on the resource-raising work for social assistance by grass-roots voluntary organization; arouse the government’s attention to resource-raising function of grass-roots voluntary organization; advance the government to create a better policy and social environment for grass-roots voluntary organization to do the social assistance resource-raising work.
