In October2010, the event of YAO jiaxin has flooded the major media, and after six months, even this crisis is not flat, another storm appeared again. The incident that GUO meimeishowed off hers riches on the micro-blog which shocked once again the people’s eyes causedanother round of uproar online...... and they have a common identity: they are both art students. Starts from these two events, my article try to rethink profoundly the lack of aesthetic education in the art high school of arts, and call for that in the current education, when we focus onknowledge transfer and capacity-building, we should pay more attention to the shaping of healthy aesthetic taste and healthy personality of art students at the same time, and then let them to pursue the true, kindness and beauty in the life.As an important discipline which is full of human colors, the history contains a wealth ofaesthetic resources. The professionals of these art students are painting, music, and other professional, which are undoubtedly the most important manifestations of the art; therefore, occupy a significant place in the aesthetic education of art students. Thus, how to implement aesthetic education in the history teaching of high school of the arts, how to make the teaching of history to be the forefront of aesthetic education for such students, how to enable students to develop healthy personality and aesthetic taste and help them to establish a proactive life attitude, to establish a correct outlook on the world, life and values, and to become a useful person to the society, became the problems that we will focus onThis article is mainly composed of the following components:Introduction: this part mentioned principally the origin of the problem; the need of research of this problem; the practical significance and theoretical significance; and the overview on this topic of domestic and foreign research.Part I: mainly discusses the meaning of beauty and aesthetic and analyses the current situation of aesthetic education of history teaching in the high school of arts.Part II: mainly discusses the aesthetic content of history teaching in the high school of arts from four aspects: natural beauty, artistic beauty, social beauty, and scientific beauty.Part III: expounds mainlythe basic principles that should be followed in the history teaching of high school of arts: coordination, image, freedom, universality.Part IV: elaborates principally the strategies used in history teaching of high school of arts from three aspects: teachers should have aesthetic concept to enhance their humanities; they should fully tap the aesthetic resources, let aesthetic education permeate into the activity of teaching; they should concern about current events, and link theory with practice to enhance the true meaning of aesthetic education. As the saying goes: "Beauty is everywhere for our eyes, it isn’t because of the lack of beauty, but the lack of discovery." For us, history teachers, we should help our students to find that the beauty of life. As the famous educator of United State Victor Lowenfeld has said: In the education of art, art is just a ways to achieve objectives, rather than a goal; the goal of arts education is make peoplemore creative in the creative process, regardless where this creativity will be applied. If the children grow up, if he has a high creativity obtained from his aesthetic experience, and applies it to the life and career, thus, an important objective of aesthetic education has been reached. In the society who advocates the quality of education, the concept "all for students, for students all" interprets once again the essence of education. Let the aesthetic education permeate intothe teaching aims at a better development for students. Finally, I want to say that if we use eyes to see the beauty of world, the world will be better; and if we have a good heart, we will have a beautiful life.
