"Interest is the best teacher". Fostering interest is helpful to promote the students’ understanding and exploration of knowledge, give them intrinsic motivation of fatherly studying.Political lessons in middle school are to realize students’ Ideological and political education, moral education, personality education, education of world view and life view, and Train students’ comprehensive quality.Therefore. the research of the students’learning interest in the ideological and political lessons makes great significance not only for the smooth implementation of the classroom teaching, but also to cultivate students’ ideological and political quality. However by the influence of the exam-oriented education and the traditional idea, ideological and political education did not get the attention of the school, teachers and parents. Even to the extent that students have few interest in political study. Because of the importance of ideological and political education in shaping students’ personality and cultivating students’ moral character, this message will research interest cultivation’s theory basis and necessity in the base of relevant research results, and put forward the countermeasures to improve the students’ Ideological and political education study interest.This paper is mainly divided into four parts:the first part mainly explains the meaning of interest. Interest is a positive tendency to understanding and pursuit something; it is active psychological tendency to explore something. Individual interest will increase their attention:strengthen its efforts to the motivation and enthusiasm.The second part analyzes the necessity of cultivating students’ interests in studying the ideological and political education in the base of ideological and political education’s desire for interest. Training students’ Ideological and political education interest is to meet the needs of new curriculum reform. The new curriculum stressed" student-oriented", pay attention to the cultivation of students’ interest in and all-round development. Emphasizes the students’ Ideological and political interest in learning is good for students to better grasp the quality of political theories, from outside to inside to improve students’ political quality and morality. It helps develop students’ initiative, not only to teach students knowledge, but also fully display student’s initiative and the creativity, and promote the development of physical and mental health of middle school students.The third part mainly discusses the maters influencing middle school students’ interest of studying ideological and Political Education. By the influence of traditional values, people pay great attention to the academic records from the entire social system to the students, and think the ideological and political has no effects on the growth of the students. On the contrary, the social environment of ideological and political that learning does not attach importance to people’s thinking makes the current quality education step forward dimension difficult.The last part proposes the relevant solutions about the problems mentioned above. First of all, to change the traditional idea, and then it will reflect on action, adhere to the student oriented; cultivate students’requirements in strict accordance with the implementation of quality education; secondly, improve the quality of teachers. Teachers are the main body of the teaching, where there are high quality teachers; there are high-quality talents; Thirdly the teacher needs to innovate the teaching methods, make full use of modern teaching tools and innovative thinking. Transform abstract thinking into specific image, and fully mobilize students’ learning enthusiasm and interest in politics, to promote ideological and political education to success.
