Whether the lineage as a traditional organization can organize collective action in amodern context or not is a significant question needing more inquiry. Objectivelyspeaking, it is proved in this research that the introvert interests structure, genetic socialcapital and pressed space made by state-making have produced advantageous socialatmosphere to aggregation of lineage interests as well as the formation of collectiveaction. In order to organize better a collective action, lineage chooses their own “coreactioner”by consultation and conference, and then determines their own actionobjectives guided by their “core actioner” in accordance with position strength. The“core actioner” will spare no efforts to open up its sources of votes by organizingelection group, aiming at getting more and more positions(especially chiefpositions). But continuity of collective action isn’t the innate feature of lineage wherethe behavior of “free-rider”,and even betray exists. For that lineage has also built itsown action maintenance mechanism against inconsistent behavior in view of differentextent, including soft constraints and hard ones. In the rural regions, comparativelyclosed space, lineage collective actions are frequently most effective way to pursueshortage resources, so collective actions will be followed popularly, and mutual actionswill be a normal phenomenon. At the mercy of factors above, lineage will be evolved afundamental interests group in village politics that will be also alienated to a game ofgroups politics dominated by lineages.
