The promotion of Chinese character writing education is beneficial to maintain and carry forward the outstanding culture of the Chinese nation, enhancing the national cohesion. Chinese hard pen calligraphy education has a long history and a wide range. However, in such a background as Chinese social prosperity and economic development as well as Euro-American cultural popularity in the new era, Chinese character writing education seems to be weak in the international multicultural exchange and needs to be enhanced.Since the reform and opening up in1978, the promotion to the Chinese folks hard pen calligraphy has begun to rise. Many local primary and middle schools have begun the exploration to the hard pen calligraphy teaching. However, the education with its expanding is just limited to the schools’individual behaviors, for no administrative departments of education are involved in.The purpose of this paper is to summarize the specific work ideas and methods of the Ningjin County Bureau of Education. The formulation system, the social foundation, the social trend of thoughts, the economic status, the educational and the scientific research, the development directions and many other aspects are all specified and explained in detail in the paper. In the first chapter, the historical evolution and the development arteries of the hard pen calligraphy are analyzed thoroughly in a simple language. A comprehensive analysis of the hard pen calligraphy’s form and position in modern society is made, while the exploration of the hard pen calligraphy education in some areas as well as its formation and development status is introduced one by one. Besides, the reason and the process of NingJin’s hard pen calligraphy’s rise are displayed vividly with a line-drawing skill. Meanwhile, some analyses are made on the basic social and educational status in Ning Jin County and Ning Jin educators’unremitting self-improvement, as well as Ning Jin’s educational spirit of boldness in exploration in the new period.The second chapter shows in detail the hard pen calligraphy teaching results with charts, illustrations and quantitative analysis methods. It relates to how to conduct the teacher training, the local textbook compilation and publication, the successful cooperation with social forces and so on. By using the scientific numbers and cases, the hard pen calligraphy teaching achievements are illustrated, with the contents full, accurate, fair and objective. Some teaching experience and methods on the breakthrough researches of the teaching achievements are summarized, in order to offer reference to higher education administrative departments and professionals. In the second part of Chapter2, some beneficial proposals are also put forward on the teacher problems in school, the recognition and attitude towards the hard pen calligraphy education, the further use of the potential of local teaching materials and the teaching management and teaching innovation. This part covers as well how the Ning Jin educators’innovational courage concerning the hard pen calligraphy education promotion are being popularized in today’s society complicated situation.In the hard pen calligraphy education standardization, the specific work ideas and methods starting from the practice are involved in. The normal system’s identification, the broad social foundation for the hard pen calligraphy, the students’ practical and economic status and so on, are all presented at length. The teaching results of the hard pen calligraphy education are introduced. Such as how to train teachers, how to make the scientific programming in the organization as well as the teaching contents and forms, whose contents are rich and accurate. Many school leaders, teachers, students and parents are interviewed and surveyed. The interview contents refer to the hard pen calligraphy teacher training, educational background, teaching experiences, teaching facilities, teaching popularization and local teaching materials. The teaching achievements of Ningjin No.2Experimental Primary School, as a typical case, are detailedly introduced, in order to offer higher education administrative departments reference. A scientific expression is made about the influence which the hard pen calligraphy teaching has on the students’abilities of observation, thinking and comprehensive analysis. The functions of the hard pen calligraphy teaching in the school characteristic culture construction are covered in this paper as well.Considering the achievements of the hard pen calligraphy educators in the hard pen calligraphy education promotion, this paper comes to the decision that the Ning Jin County hard pen calligraphy educators have the quest spirit, namely excelsior, unwilling to lag behind and striving for excellence.Finally, the paper puts great emphasis on the social functions of the hard pen calligraphy education. For example, the hard pen calligraphy teaching plays an important role in strengthening Chinese national sense of identity, the national sense of belonging and the national cohesion. Some vigilance tips, for the traditional culture’s being looted and the intrusion of foreign cultures, are put forward. The exploratory study in the internationalization of the hard pen calligraphy teaching is made. Finally, the internationalization development trend on the Chinese characters writing is obtained.
