It’s the ultimate goal that every high school geography teacher improve the quality ofteaching and seek the teaching efficiency. The effective teaching is an important way to solvethis problem. The methods and strategies of effectiveness of teaching were put forward bymany teachers who sum up their own on the basis of teaching experience in traditionalteaching. The teaching concept of new curriculum is changing teachers’ teaching as theformulation and implementation of new geography curriculum standard. Senior high schoolgeography teachers should be review strategy of effective teaching in their idea and behavior.As the breakthrough point in this paper, the teaching strategy attempts to explore theapproaches and methods of effective teaching on the combination of research and practicewhile this paper based on case study of practice, exploration, inspection. The full text canforming a set of effective teaching strategy to guide and serve the teaching.This paper is divided into four parts: preface, the target of teaching strategy, students’learning ability, teaching strategy.In the preface part, I elaborated the research background, research significance, researchmethod and train of thought. These words illustrates briefly that the teaching strategy shouldbe used as a concept throughout the entire teaching activity, rather than just teaching copingskills.In the target of teaching strategy, this paper analyzes the basic principle and valueobjective. This part is the theoretical foundation of the content behind.In the students’ learning strategy, this paper analyzes strategy of learning interest and thestrategy of learning methods. The strategy of learning interest have teaching concept, theadvantages of geography, the personality of students, the teaching tools of geography. Thepurpose of learning method guidance is to encourage the students learning to learn, learningto master the scientific methods. This paper gives necessary guidance and recommendationson the students’ learning plan, learning methods selection and application. On the basis ofstudy experience, the guidance of learning method in teaching activities can help andencourage students explore and update the study methods, and give students more flexible,more relaxed environment, to enable them to acquire more knowledge, effectively play theirvarious abilities.In the teaching strategy. I launched two aspects of study skills: teaching process, teachingmethods. The skills of teaching regulation make the teaching process by means of teachingsystem dynamic regulation. The relaxed and interesting teaching pattern will be achievedwhen the teaching regulation skills were hold properly. In this way, the whole process ofteaching will be presenting a predetermined, orderly, optimal regulation of posture.
