The traditional mode of teaching geography teachers in the classroom teaching knowledge, thenext class of students to complete homework after this teaching mode and more teacher-centered,teacher talks, the students listen, was spoon-feeding teaching, students do not opportunities forself-study, did not do " student-centered " teaching requirement, students can not play passive learninginitiative. Now, with the development of information technology, the world are trying to have the latesttechnology in teaching geography teaching model has thus become increasingly diverse. Which flippedclassroom model has been widespread concern, flipped classroom originated in the United States, alsoknown as "upside classroom" or "reverse the classroom." This teaching model for the use of class timeto do a re-planning, its mode of teaching where students watch the video, be explored in the classroom,discuss exercises accordingly completed the internalization of knowledge. This teaching model fullyembodies the " student-centered " philosophy of education, the role of teachers and teaching convertedto cultivate the students’ self-learning, inquiry ability, teachers can achieve individual counseling tostudents. Currently flipped classroom and more used in American classrooms, the education sector inits infancy in China, flipped classroom teaching abroad teaching can not be mechanically applied inChina, in conjunction with China’s national conditions.
