This article focuses on the Chinese quality education in senior art education teaching andart education. The art education in our country with respect to foreign art education from theconcept, implementation process and the degree of importance are very different. In Europeanart education is to promote the popularization of education, the education process is notconcern the painting results, but in the painting students active learning and experience thebeauty of art, realize the whole process of creation. In European art education is not important,learning art is not only the school teachers and students, but all people whenever andwherever possible in the. Reflection on China’s art education, long-term political, economic,cultural and traditional examination-oriented education thought influence, is a vice can nolonger associate subjects, to each semester final even classroom will be occupied by othersubjects, and even many high school up to now there is no creation of art. And the Chinese arteducation is to pay attention to the knowledge and skills of the accumulation and mechanicaltraining, restrain students imagination, students led to the lack of independent thinking,innovation and research ability of practice. From this point of view the art education is topopularize science.This article from the perspective of the new curriculum reform, in order to qualityeducation as the goal, to the high school art class as the object of study, from the followingfour aspects to research, analysis is made on the background and necessity of fine artseducation. The second part discusses the quality education, the new art curriculum standard,three concept art education. The third part discusses the high school art appreciation and artcourses development present situation, proposed the high school art appreciation courses andhigh school art teaching problems and solutions. The fourth part discusses the high school arteducation in quality education. In the paper, in the process, summarize the teachingexperience, take the illustration law, comparative method, such as literature.In conclusion, the art education is quality education and aesthetic education is the mainmeans, is to cultivate all-round development of socialist builders and successors. It isadaptable to the society and the progress of the times, one kind of education form, in theimplementation of quality education plays an irreplaceable role.
