Content:Campus violence is already very serious in China, how to prevent, reduce or eliminate violence on campus is the current urgent work. Theoverwhelming majority of students in secondary vocational school is the loser of thesenior high school entrance examination. Due to their specific nature, they are morelikely to be perpetrators of violence on campus. In research information, It has been made clear on the harm and cause ofcampus violence, and multi-angle study has also been made on thecounter-measures for the prevention. But very little specific research is oriented tothe violence among students in secondary vocational schools. On the basis ofexisting literature, combined with the the present situation of campus violenceamong students, the writer in this paper tries to come up with the defendingmeasures against campus violence in vocational schools, and make it effectivelycontrolled on campus.Survey shows that55.67%of vocational students are affected by violence invarying degrees, and active participants accounts for21.90%. It is mainly groupviolence between vocational students, and the maximum percentage is betweenstudents of different grades,Generally speaking, more boys than girls, more seniorsthan juniors, more good students than poor performances, more non-candres thancandre students, more from non-normal family than from normal family. Thosemost likely to become active perpetrators are the ones that are tempered, unreasonable, and those most likely to be victims are the ones that always have flawsin character, or aren’t good at dealing with interpersonal relationships. Campusviolence often occurs in the recess and lunchtime and early evening (after dinneruntil late),and usually inside or outside of lonely corners of the buildings.56%ofthe students think that school violence will do serious harm to their psychology, and23%of students believe that school violence have had a negative impact on theirlearning. Students believe that the main reason is that "school punishment isn’tsevere enough, or due to being unfair", followed by "parents don’t care aboutchildren enough, resulting in children with personality defects" and "moraleducation in schools is not enough, or a mere formality."The author considers that schools set up a specialized institutions to conrolviolence between students, preventive measures can be divided into general prevention measures, selective prevention measures and directive preventionmeasures. Post-treatment measures includes the establishment of proceduraltreatment system, setting reasonable regulations. In addition, disciplinary actionshould be fair and equitable enough to convince students. We also emphasize thehelp and education after disciplinary treatment, and standardize the repealingsystem of penalty.
