Foreign language teaching is warming up, foreign language teaching as the mainsubject of English teaching at present is time-consuming and less effective. The famouseducator Tolstoy once said:" a successful education is not compulsory needed, but tostimulate the enthusiasm of the students." To change English teaching thistime-consuming and effects is less than the status, the most effective way is to stimulatestudents’ interest in learning English. Pupil belongs to the physical and mentaldevelopment of the base period, physical and mental development is not mature enough,teachers only fully arouse the students’ interest in learning, to train students autonomouslearning habits, achieve academic success. New English curriculum requires students tomaster English language knowledge and skills, but also cultivate students’ Englishlearning positive emotional attitude and values. On the learning theory of motivationsystem elaborated the interest in learning English to learn the important role.In this paper, on the basis of the previous research, based on Jinzhou New Area inDalian town primary schools of60students,10novice English teachers,10backboneteachers of English open questionnaires and Dalian Xin Cheng Primary School with10students,4teachers,4backbone teachers based on interviews, making" primary schoolteachers English teachers cultivate students’ interest in English Learning Questionnaire"(teacher and Student Edition), The questionnaire survey and data analysis on the basisof the research, the conclusions are as following:First, When the Primary school novice English teachers set the teaching goals, theyoften follow the syllabus, lack of flexibility, are too subjective, The teaching goals oftenset higher than the level of students’ physical and mental development.Secondly, when the new English teachers in primary school choice the teachingcontent, they more often willing to choose the materials with more interesting extracurricular knowledge, basically meets the requirements of students’ interest inlearning English.Thirdly, in the teaching process, primary school English teachers are often willingto tell the story, using a discussion or competition to arouse the students’ learningEnglish interest, but overlooked songs, playing games, situational teaching, directlyteaching, correlation teaching, physical teaching and the other teaching methods.Fourthly, when the new English teachers in primary school set up the teachingevaluations, they often ignored the objectivity principle and the teaching evaluationusually in single.Finally, the new English teachers in primary schools are often pay attention to theteachers’ dignity, prevalent among students afraid of the teachers ’question.The researchers hope that this research can mobilize the students learning Englishenthusiasm and initiative, to improve the level of primary school students’ Englishlearning. At the same time as the new English teachers and the society from all walks oflife in the cultivation of students’ interest in learning to provide theoretical andmethodological guidance for English teaching, ensure the effectiveness and efficiencyof students learning English.
