As everyone knows, the educational environment is very important to cultivate thetalents. The school and the family, as two important places for a primary schoolchildren, haveformed a very close relation during the process of cultivating their happy growing-up.Teachers and parents attach more and more attention to the communication between schoolsand parents.This paper mainly studies the current situation, the problem and the strategies of thelower-grade students of Dalian Development Zone primary schools. The thesis mainly adoptsthe method of questionnaire. From four aspects—the content, the frequency, the ways, and theinfluencing factors of communication, the questionnaire has been carried on with the DalianDevelopment Zone five of the lower grades of primary school teachers and parents as thesubjects. The survey shows that: from aspect of the contents communication between schoolsand families, teachers and parents concern more about communication about student learning,while they concern less about the communication about students’ physical quality andaesthetic ability. From aspect of the frequency of communication, most teachers think that theideal communication between the schools and the families is3times a term; most parentsthink that the ideal frequency is twice a term. From aspect of the ways of communication,teachers and parents are more inclined to telephone communication through phones and PTA;it is not very necessary to make home-visits and network communication also has certainlimitations. From the aspect of the influencing factors of communication, the problems ofclass-size, workload issues and school system are the main factors that affect the teachers andparents to communicate; the worries about being criticized and the ages of teachers are themain factors that influence the communication between parents and teachers. The analysis ofthe results shows that there are incompleteness of the home-school communication contents,the inequality of home-school communication relationships inequality, and trend ofhome-school communication ways.In order to solve the problem of home-school communication problems of low-gradeprimary school, realize the effective communication between school and family, the authorthinks that teachers should attach importance to the all-round development of students,concern and love every student so as to make a variety of ways of home-schoolcommunication reach optimization, correctly realize the purposes of home-schoolcommunication, do a good job of home-school communication preparation, pay attention tohome-school communication art; schools should strengthen the construction of ethics, updateteachers’ idea of personnel training and home-school communication system, create a goodhome-school communication condition, enhance teachers’ investment, reduce the burden onteachers, service for the establishment of a harmonious home-school communication.
