Table tennis is a popular sport, which has solid mass base in Baoji. In the recent years, various of table tennis competitions have been held and the atmosphere of training is also pretty good in Baoji. There are several commercial competitions, which are held annually in there, such as "Bai He Bei, Tian He Hou Bei Ren Cai Bei, Ju Jin Bei and Rui Feng Shi You Bei". These competitions push forward teenager's development of table tennis and create a good circumstance for public physical exercise in the locality.This paper uses interviewing, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and documentation methods to reveal the teenager's training situation in Baoji. According to the survey, firstly, the quantity and quality of stadiums can meet the training demand. The stadiums in different level help different standard of players improve table tennis skill. Secondly, the table tennis training institutions have been shown the following characteristics:Society play a very important role in teenager's table tennis development. Children table tennis training institutions have been combined with the society, which creates a full of system to cultivate talents. Besides, Baoji sports bureau assign the training task to the society, which was in charge of government in the old days. The policy can arouse the enthusiasm of training. Thirdly, table tennis coaches have aging trend and most of coaches are men. The education background of coaches are pretty low, most of coaches don't have college degree. Fourthly, parents have rational recognition on training from the view of popularity based on the survey. The good psychology will have contributed to discover the talents and avoid wasting the resources. The data showed that the table tennis level of teenagers in Baoji have got front rank in Shannxi province. Finally, there are too many men athletics in Baoji. Ignorance of the physical training is also a general problem. In conclusion, the trend of table tennis development is pretty good and we got the good grades in the competition in the recent years. However, there are also many problems in training, such as single training method, "the third training" system and conduction of bullying the small by being big. Those problems restrict the table tennis development in Baoji.Based on the analysis and survey, the paper proposes some suggestion to improve the training quality:Firstly, we should fully understand teenager's characteristic, draw up a scientific training plan and lay the solid foundation of sustainable development. Coaches need to enact several targets for training, which can improve the training enthusiasm. Secondly, combined with psychology, we require coaches to learn how to stimulate the learning enthusiasm and relief the contradiction of learning and training. It is important to stimulate the learning subjective initiative and cultivate ability of self-study. Relieving contradiction of learning and training is not only the duty for coaches but also the parents and competent department. We need to make concerted effort to improve the training atmosphere. Thirdly, we need to enhance theoretical attainment and coaching ability. We also want to change the structure of professional title by attending university to attend the second education. We aim to improve the level of coach's training by getting some training experience from the old coaches and starting the system of survival of the fittest. Fourthly, changing teenager's age and gender struction and dealing with the relationship between physical and skill training will lay a solid foundation of raising Baoji table tennis level. Those measures will also guarantee teenager's professional sustainable development. Finally, we are supposed to use the advantage of hardware condition and increase the software condition, which also help us improve the teenager's table tennis level in Baoji. By continually building the competition platform and intensifying development of table tennis training and government institute, we will attract more children to take part in this sport.
