A Trial Discussion Of Connection Between The Western Modern Fiction Teaching And The Construction Of The Middle School Students Humanism

Humanity is an important part in Chinese language education. Because of the complexity of the humanism and the wrong understanding of the humanism, Chinese language teaching in middle schools has a few problems in educating students’ humanism. Influenced by Confucianism, Chinese language teaching in middle schools mainly focuses on the connection with the society, the beauty and kindness of human beings, which admires temporal life and the sublime, but it neglects the reality of human nature, the meaning of life and the ultimate value. In this essay, the author tries to use the attraction and impact of different culture on the students to find the differences between western modern fiction and Chinese traditional culture, the connection between the need of the middle school students, the thoughts about the soul and human nature of western modern fiction. Moreover, modern western writers, behaving like Sisyphus, introspective and responsible, give persuasive cases to construct the middle school students’ personality.At last, the essay focuses on the current western modern fiction about teaching and researching.
