The life education not only care about students’general ability of using English, but also students’emotion, attitude and personal acknowledge. Life education inspired students to join the practice in the course. Schools or teachers should absorb some life examples to make the classroom be full of happiness and active.The thesis studied and analyzed the life teaching of English in secondary vocational school. Firstly, the thesis introduced life education and the life teaching of English and made the purpose of study known. Secondly, it introduced the research status home and abroad. To better know the situation of English education in secondary vocational school we used document method and case method and investigation method. Then compared some classical theory and studied some questions in them.The thesis analyzed problems existed in the teaching of English in secondary vocational school. Which included students’positivity and not enough recognition and so on, then analyzed the reasons. The thesis proposed some suggestions which make for improvement of English education in secondary vocational school based on its feature and the learning style of secondary vocational students. One hand, we should recognize the relation between life and English education correctly, on the other hand, the thesis proposed some solution to how to make life situation in the traditional education. To balance the difference between teachers’teaching methods and students’learning style the thesis advised using cluster method in the education, and the thesis gave a study style of task-based, designed many activities be good for the students. Finally, the thesis gave some good advice to the estimation scheme for efficiency which optimizes the life education, and the estimation scheme contained two sides, one for teachers and the other for students,through building a new style education life, made the education process back to life process and the education situation back to life situation, made the education activity to life activity. Life education put the education situation in the background of life for inspiring the students’to join in the activity, at the same time, change the education goal to be students’need. Let the students learn in the normal life and learn to have a better life. At the last, they can obtain active knowledge and cultivates the mind.
