As is known to all,in the background of economic globalization,on the one hand,Withthe economic development,the practical skilled personnel are needed,which make all kindsof vocational schools emerge and secondary vocational education scale grow fast.On the other hand,with the acceleration of higher education,the high school heat iscontinuously rising,and enrollment of colleges and universities are expanding for severalyears in our country. Based these two factors,the condition of students quality has beenchanged profoundly. The lower quality of students and the overall quality is uneven,so thatthe teaching work in vocational schools are facing unprecedented challenges. How to developquality comprehensive new workers,become a key problem of the vocational schoolsteaching reform.The long-term influence of examination-oriented education,vocational school studentsin high school has been accustomed to the "spoon-feeding" method of teaching. Studentsaccustomed to teaching-centered,and lack of initiative,aesthetic taste and ability to cooperate.Most students have no interest in English,even in case of conflicting emotions, and think itis useless to learn English. The organizational skills of vocational school English teachers inclassroom are very strong,however,they lack of the knowledge of life. A very importantbreakthrough of implementation of quality education for secondary vocational school Englishis to change “classroom English” to “life English”. Through the research,the author tries tofind new ways and explore new paths and to change the students from learning passively tolearning actively. And enable students to take advantage of knowledge in the classroom to usein the life,meanwhile,change the traditional classroom teaching into the integration of lifeteaching. According those ways,students can generate enough interest in the Englishlanguage. The research aimed at enabling students and teachers to get rid of formalismEnglish. The English teachers can realize consciously that it is not enough to use teachingmaterials alone. Teachers should open their horizon,collect the type of English materials inlife,and learn English in daily life. All above put forward higher requirements to Englishteachers in vocational schools. The teachers should renew their ideas and improve theirquality.Although English is a basic course in vocational schools,from the requirements of many aspects such as discipline, teachers and students,schools, enterprises and society, thisproject is feasible and has its practical significance. It consistent with the teaching law andreflect the social demands. More important,students can also get the maximum benefit fromthis study.
