The Practice And Research On Nourishment Of Self-Learning On Physics Of Junior Middle School Students

Self-learning is one of the most important subject in today’s education research. Thejunior high school students are in the coexistance period of self-consciousness andchildishness, as well as dependence, which is the important period for the development ofself-learning ability of the student. However, nowadays junior high school students’self-learning consciousness and ability are not satisfying due to the negative effect oftraditional education module. Many people realized the current problems but still are stillusing the old teaching module, ignoring the initiation of junior pupils in their study in physics,which hurts their self-learning ability. This article includes questionnaire about the junior highschool’s self-learning ability in their physics study based on documents research and practices.According to questionnaire results and some partial teaching module reform under the newcourse concept, this article shows the research and practice of how to nurture the junior highschool students’ self-learning ability in physics, and explores the value, impact, feature,influencing factors, and development mechanism of the junior high school students’self-learning in physics under the new course concept. I tested using a method of “textbooksas media, teaching as the main direction, students’ self-learning as the principle” in myteaching and research. Meanwhile I also conducted group study in class, checked the resultsby random sample, asked the students to summarize and document the points that they didwrong in the physics exams. Based on all these practices and research, I summarize thefeasible approaches to and strategies of how to nurture the self-learning ability of junior highschool students in their physics study. Hope it offers some reference to the physics teachersand helps to increase the education quality somehow.
