With the approaching and development of the learning society, it puts forward newrequirements and tasks for the future education, which require that students be trained aslifelong learners. It is demanded that the education today, especially classroomteaching,should let students learn how to study on their own. The new curriculum claimsclearly that we should promote autonomous learning, experiential learning, cooperativelearning, inquiry learning and research learning. One of its aims is to cultivate students’learning ability, and then learn how to study. However, in the teaching pratice nowadays,teaching bipolar phenomenon is becoming more and more obvious. One is the typicallytraditional classroom teaching, which is based on materials,teaching for teaching. The other isto " learn" with the new concept of classroom teaching, which appears to be performing theclassroom teaching, full of students’ activities, but in fact students’ learning has not been wellcarried out. Especially, the students’ independent learning ability does not or rarely get trainedor developed. Therefore,it is necessary to explore a new type of teaching mode,moreconducive to the development of students. Learning under the guidance of learning plan is aneffective method of cultivating students’ ability of learning independently, which fullyreflects the essence of the new curriculum refor.According to the reasons above, this thesis, based on the research results and related theories that havebeen carried out by others about " learning under the guidance of learning plan", with the help of schoolleaders and experts, the author has made an active exploration about the new teaching method, includingthe connotation and characteristics of the teaching methodSpecifically, on the basis of reference documents, the author tries to make a positive exploration in theconstruction of high school mathematics teaching practice, using an action research approach, includingthe design, the compilation of different types of classes, the use and the implementation process of learningplans. After a one-year comparative teaching experiment in the school, the author analyzes the statistics ofthe experimental results and draws the following conclusion: in ordinary high schools, students’smathematics learning enthusiasm, self-learning ability in mathematics, and mathematics scores areimproved, under the guidance of the learning plans for students. The pattern learning under the guidanceof learning plansis feasible and effective in the ordinary high school mathematics teaching.
