《Primary school teachers in professional standards (for trial implementation)》is sued by a qualified primary school teachers should have professional quality with clear requirements, which emphasizes ability in the basic concepts, and teaching practical ability resident in the core position of the all abilities, which have a direct impact on the level of the effect of teachers’ classroom teaching and the quality of training of primary school students. At present, primary education major is the main source of training qualified primary school teachers in the normal colleges. How about teaching practical ability of the primary education majors in normal colleges,Is there any problem? And what is the cause of these problems? What kind of reform should carry out in order to improve the student’s teaching practical ability in primary education major? These all issues in this study are focused on. Therefore, this study in the research process used a combination of literature research, surveys, interviews and classroom observation to study the status of the teaching practical ability of the primary education majors in the normal college.This research through the self-designed"normal primary school education students’ teaching practice ability questionnaire", with Z school primary school education students were investigated, and supplemented by classroom observation and interviews, found in primary school education in higher pedagogical education profession the student’s teaching ability of practice exist in many problems, including the teaching language is not standard, the lack of infectious, non-standard writing, writing on the blackboard design unreasonable, excessive dependence on multimedia, courseware too fancy, teaching goal design not reasonable, the teaching method is single and lack of pertinence, prepare lesson plans of variety, classroom management and organization ability, poor ability to adjust to changing circumstances, classroom interaction, comprehension level is low, the lack of innovation ability and so on.To solve these problems from the primary school education in higher pedagogical education professional training mode, educational theory course setting, teaching skill training, practical teaching four aspects of the analysis of reasons.Finally, in view of the existing problems and the causes of the problems and put forward optimization strategies: optimizing cultivation mode, draw the characteristic optimize education theory course structure, reform of teaching methods strengthening skill training, strengthen the consciousness of the role reform practice, ability of practice.
