Composition teaching is very important in Chinese language teaching. only thesuccessful teaching of writing can help students express their views and feelings accuratelyand smoothly. As an important part of the composition teaching, Compositionteaching evaluation,which is throughout the whole process of composition teaching, mustbe taken attention to sufficiently. Scientific and effective composition evaluation can guidestudents to regulate composition, to stimulate the enthusiasm of students ’writing, and toimprove the students’ writing ability. At the same time, in the process of the communicationand evaluation with students, the student’s outlook on life and values can be guidedcorrectly. To promote the Chinese composition teaching to obtain good teaching effect,theelectronic portfolio assessment method is introduced to the Chinese composition evaluation.This paper consists of five parts. The first chapter introduces the researchbackground, research status, research significance and research methods. The second chapterputs forward the definition of the class portfolio, clears its classifications, objectives andspecific content, and proposes the theoretical basis of the electronic portfolioassessment. The third chapter is the entire design process of electronic portfolio. On this basis,the Chapter IV is development of the electronic portfolio. The fifth chapter, which expoundsthe innovation points and limitations,is a summary of this article.
