Basic knowledge of IT refers to the use of network, computer and other IT informationprocessing must understand, grasp the basic concepts, principles, method and process. Thisbasic knowledge is the student further IT foundation; the teaching is successful or not, greatlyinfluences the student’s further study, learning interest and enthusiasm. Therefore, the basicknowledge of information technology teaching is very important, based on the study of themethod of teaching knowledge will become key point of information technology teaching.The teaching method is contacted by teachers, students and teaching content of the threebridges, is to develop a good teaching content to pay in order to carry out the dynamic processby the use of means and methods. Teaching is successful and the choice of teaching methodhas a direct relationship. It has very important practical significance and influences theefficiency and effect of teaching. Using what kind of teaching methods, not only affect thestudents’ knowledge and skills, but also to the development of students’ personality also havemajor effect.The research, analysis of Yining city IT teachers’ choice of teaching methods at presentsituation, and puts forward some solving problems strategies. We hope that through thismethod to strengthen the IT teaching method in practical research, supporting to elementaryand middle school IT teaching with practical guidance.The paper divided into the following several parts:The first part explains the background of research, purpose, meaning and method;The second part introduces the IT course and its teaching method; the informationtechnique lesson teaching method was introduced, namely the coaching method, discussionmethod, task driven teaching method, case teaching method, problem solving and gamemethod.The third part analysis of the present situation of junior middle school IT class teachers`teaching methods in Yining City. By questionnaire, lectures, interviews, on a variety of ITteaching method application in teaching circumstance to make investigation and analysis.The fourth part describes the solutions to the problems of countermeasures. In this part,we put forward to some measures to solve the problem and they are:(1) Teacher’s newteaching methods idea be further developed;(2) different from the individual learning needsto consider the appropriate teaching methods to improve teaching;(3) To strengthen thetraining mainly with disciplines;(4) to encourage teachers in school exchanges and learn fromeach other;(5) Improve the teaching management and supervision;(6) The advancement of ITlesson seriously.The last part of the paper is the conclusion of the research and gives some idea.
