| Dangshan is the typical large agricultural county with rich labor resource. In recent years, thougha lot of training work on improving the overall quality level of rural labor have been done, because ofthe large proportion of the rural population with low quality, the result is not so good as expected.What is studied in this paper is to use the limited training funds to maximize economic and socialbenefits, to obtain work effect on the farmer training, thus to train a large number of outstanding farmersfor the new rural construction with knowledge, technology, and management to promote agriculturalsynergism as well as income. In this paper, through theoretical study and literature analysis as well ascombination of questionnaire and interview, the first-hand data and information on the training offarmers in Dangshan County has been obtained by the field research. Also, after the analysis on theproblems existing in the training of farmers, the influence factors on farmer training, ways andcountermeasure have been put forward to provides the basis for the effective training. The full text isdivided into four chapters as follows:The first chapter is to discuss the farmer training theory preliminary, and summarize the currentsituation of farmer training at home and overseas. The second chapter has studied the current situationon farmer training of Dangshan County, for example: making a survey on the agriculture, the structureof the rural labor force and the present farmer training conditions;summarizing and analyzing thefarmer training, teaching forces, training institutions, employment units questionnaire and the problemsreflected in the interview. The third chapter is divided into five aspects on farmer training, including theproblems among farmers, training institutions, management, government as well as the employing units.The fourth chapter puts forward some ideas and measures of training:(1) integrating resources andgradually building a sound long-acting mechanism on farmer training;(2) innovating training;(3)improving the training quality and setting up a diversified training investment mechanism;(4)completing the reasonable, practical, and effective evaluation system;(5) establishing the rural distanceeducation network and gradually forming a main channel on training.The following conclusions can be drawn through this research:(1)the overall quality of farmers isgenerally low in culture scientific technology, meanwhile, the market knowledge, participationconsciousness and competition ability are not strong as well, which cannot adapt to the new ruralconstruction requirements. However, the farmer is the key of the new rural construction force, whoseoverall quality of culture and scientific technology decides on whether the goal of new countrysideconstruction has been achieved or not, so the training of farmers have a long way to go.(2)the farmers’training is closely and directly related to the improvement of overall quality and the increasing incomeof farmers. That is to say, many factors, such as the diversity of farmer training, rationality of the timearrangement, practicability of training content as well as the farmers’ participation in the initiative, alldirectly influence the effect of training.(3)the weak foundation in the training of farmers, togetherwith backward training means, directly affects the enthusiasm of farmers to participate in the training. (4)based on the present situation of farmer training, the government, which plays a dominant role inthe training of farmers, should establish a perfect system of education training, management andoperation mechanism, innovate mode, update a concept, and increase devoted strength. |
