Questionnaire and Case Study were used with the Middle School Student’Mental Health Scale complied by Wangjisheng, the Coping Style Scale complied by Zhengquanquan and Chenshulin, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale to analysis and understand the students’ mental health, coping style and self-efficacy, and to explore the predictive role of coping style, self-efficacy toward mental health problems. Combined with case study to explore the mental health intervention way in rural middle school students, and then to make relevant recommendations for the development of rural mental health educationStudy results:1ã€Mild mental health problems are commonly found in Rural junior high school students, sense of study pressure, anxiety and emotional instability rank the top three. There are significant differences in the total average score of the mental health in urban and rural junior high school students.2ã€In rural junior high school students, the level of mental health of boys is higher than the girls. With the grade increasing, the mental health problems of rural high junior students tend to serious. The students who have the higher grade have the high lever of the mental health. There are no significant differences between the only child and the Non-one-child in mental health. There are significant differences in different household types of the rural junior high school students.3ã€The rural junior high school students have more positive coping styles, the level of the problem coping is higher than the emotion response.4ã€Self-efficacy of the rural junior high school students is at the middle level, which need to be improved.5ã€The problem coping style and the self-efficacy are very significant negatively related to the total average score of the mental health and each mental health factors. Emotion response is very significant positive related to the total average score of the mental health and each mental health factors.6ã€The problem coping style and the self-efficacy predict a negative role to the mental health problems, while the emotion response predict a positive role to the mental health problems.
