In recent years, further implement quality-oriented education, the child’s academic performance as the standard for evaluation of children only phenomenon began to decrease, the students outside the school after school time began to accumulate, combined with the development of the era of social transformation, access to the world becomes rich and colorful, mixed, in expanding the teenagers vision at the same time, some subtle psychological problems followed. Adolescent mental health problems by the general educator, society, family, school, widespread attention. To high school students as the research object, this study USES the emotional intelligence scale, middle school students’coping styles questionnaire and SCL-90 was measured by 560 high school students in emotional intelligence, coping style and mental health status, and explore the relationship between the three.The results showed that:(1) high school students on the serious psychological problems, only in a "hostile", "body" and "other" three factors on men and women are all in detection rate and the rather heavy and medium ten factors on psychological problems have a detection rate. These three grade but one, two, three were no significant differences in mental health level; (2) people from different regions have significant differences in emotional intelligence, from the city’s high school students of emotional intelligence from the villages and towns is significantly higher than high school students of emotional intelligence. Different grade of boys on the emotional intelligence have significant differences, three boys’emotional intelligence is higher than high school boy, two boys high emotional intelligence is higher than boys. (3) students of different grade significant differences when using coping styles. As the higher grade, use the method of venting and retreat students less and less; "Help" and "fantasy" as the growth of the grade presented the tendency of decline; On the dimension "problem solving", significantly higher than that of grade three of senior grade two utilization rate, high significantly higher than that of high utilization rate. The students of different gender differences in using coping styles. More girls than boys to use for help, retreats and vent. Only children more use than when the one-child "retreat" approach. (4) emotional intelligence can negative prediction terror, psychotic, hostility, depression, anxiety and somatization. Emotional intelligence in the six dimensions of coping styles "problem solving", "retreat" have negative prediction function. In the "help" on mental health dimension "psychotic", "paranoid" has negative prediction effect, "fantasy" of "interpersonal sensitive" "somatization" "symptoms" three factors have positive prediction effect.
