Now stress question in the rural high-school students is prominent, theentire society pays attention to this question. we understand the ruralhigh-school students stressor, commonly used coping style and mental healthstatus, and study the rural high-school students stressor, coping style and themental health relations, the discussion which affects the rural high-schoolstudents mental health the in-depth reason, for we can point to carry out the highschool student mental health education and the counselling work, improve thehigh-school student mental health level to provide the scientific basis.This research has used the test survey procedure. The questionnaire surveymain tool is the middle-school student stressor test, the middle-school studentcoping style test and the symptom from SCL-90, investigated three schools to beNO.1 to NO.3 three grades 682 rurals high-school students. The investigationdata use SPSS10.0 statistics software processing, mainly has carried on theindependent group t test,ANOVA ,the correlation analysis and the rankregression analysis.The research has drawn following conclusions: 1.The study stress, ownstress, the schoolmate friend stress and the teacher stress are the ruralhigh-school students four kind of most main stressors. The male and femalehigh-school students feels to the different stress. The different grade high-schoolstudents feels to the different stress. 2.The rural high-school students when facesthe stress event, students use to hold responsible the topic solution and seek thesociety to support most. The female student is seeking the society to supportwith giving vent to the mood aspect and the male student difference isremarkable. Various grades student facing stress,their first coping style is thequestion solution, next is to seek the society to support. student's coping stylecan not change obviously along with the grade. 3.The female student isdespondent, the hostile minute meter scores points remarkably is higher than themale student, the male student scores points on the biased minute meter is higherthan the female student. Except is hostile, neurosis and outside other minutemeters, other each target has the grade difference. 4.The stressor has the closecorrelation between coping style and the mental health, also achieves thesignificance level. (1) the stressor is the important attribute prefecting thehigh-school students mental health. (2) coping style has the connet in themental health and the stressor.According to the study, the researcher proposed two suggestions toalleviate the high-school student stress and promote the high-school studentmental health :(1) strengthens the mental health education and training, raisesmiddle-school student's mental health consciousness and the psychologicalself-service ability. (2) display family society support program to control action.
