Sexual development experience refers to the activity of psychological about teenagersin puberty sexual development phase, which is caused by coping with physicalsexuality development. This is a series of special activity of psychological aboutsexuality development include perception and attention, identification and judgment,emotion and attitude. For early puberty, the level of sexual development self-identitynot only affects their self-acceptance, but also affects their self-esteem.On the basis of the foundation of a large number of literature reviews, I proposed theTheoretical construction on sexual development experience, compiling students’sexual development experience formal questionnaires on Grade Five to Eight. Usingthese questionnaires, I measured810students on Grade Five to Eight in Shenyangwith self-esteem scale, discussing the characteristics of students’ experience andself-esteem on sexual development stage and the relationships between them.The results as follows:1. Sexual development experience is a multidimensional psychological structure,which include the attention, judgment and attitude of sexuality. The students’ sexualdevelopment experience questionnaires on Grade Five to Eight are possessed withgood reliability and validity. It can be used as an effective tool to measure students’sexual development self-identification on this phase.2. Students sexual development experience overall on Grade Five to Eight is inmedium level. The girls’ scores on attention and judgment are significantly higherthan boys’; Boys’ scores on the attitude factor are higher than the girls’. Grade Eightstudents have the highest level on sexual development experience. It is significantlyhigher than students’ level on the other grade. About Scores on the judgment factors,urban students’ scores were significantly higher than rural students’. About Scores onthe judgment factors, the level on the sexual development experience of development synchronization students is the highest. It is significantly higher than level of studentswho are development earlier and development later. About Scores on the attitudefactors, the students is the lowest, who are development later. Combining with thegender to analysis specifically, find that attention of girls who are development earlieris at higher level than boys, attitude level of boys who are development late is higherthan girls.3. Students on Grade Five to Eight self-esteem overall is at a higher level. Amongthem, the girl’s overall level of self-esteem is significantly higher than boys’. Thereare not significant differences on Students’ self-esteem level in urban and ruralareas.In different development level, there are significant differences about theindividual’s self-esteem level. The self-esteem of development synchronous studentsis at the highest levels. Combining with the gender to analysis specifically, find thatself-esteem of boys who are development earlier is at higher level than girls. However,self-esteem level of girls who are development late is higher than boys.4. There is significant relationship between students’ on grade Five to eight sexualdevelopment experience factors and self-esteem. And sexual development experiencecan predict individual self-esteem. Attention, judgment and attitude of sexuality canpredict positively individual self-esteem level, especially the attitude factor has thehighest predictive effect.
