The new high school curriculum reform gradually advance has been more thannine years in the country, in the curriculum reform, the music curriculum has beenelevated to a hitherto unknown height, has become a required course in basiceducation stage. At the same time, the music curriculum to the module form is dividedinto "music appreciation","sing","play","creation","music and dance","music andopera" of six modules, including "music appreciation" as a compulsory module. Theseare fully shown the importance to music education in basic education in china."Newcurriculum standard" that "music is an important way to cultivate the students’aesthetic ability, is an important content of high school music teaching. Musicappreciation for the rich emotion, edify sentiment, improve the culturalaccomplishment, has important significance to form the perfect personality." As inrecent years, the new curriculum step by step, the author found in the teaching ofmusic appreciation in the city to highlight the many problems, investigation and studysome phenomena also need further into the teaching first line to do the actual, morein-depth. At the same time, how to take effective measures to further improve theteaching situation of the city, improve the teaching behavior, improve the quality ofteaching, high level to complete the teaching goal, steadily promote the musicteaching reform in new period, these have become a serious problem need to besolved urgently in teaching high school music city.This article mainly uses the literature method, survey method and interviewmethod for high school students in Binzhou City, the values of music, musicpsychology of learning and motivation, learning method and teacher summer remotetraining situation of the tracking surveys and interviews, in order to multi-angle,multi-level, all-round grasp of the current Binzhou city general high school musicteaching situation. This paper is divided into introduction and three chapters: the introductionmainly expounds the purpose, significance and the research method of this topic. Thefirst chapter mainly discusses the value of music appreciation; the second chapter inthe form of questionnaire on Binzhou city high school music appreciation teachingsituation investigation, find out the problem, cause analysis. The third chapter isaiming at the shortage of teaching music appreciation in senior high school inBinzhou City, respectively, proposed the corresponding improvementcountermeasures from four aspects of students, teachers and teaching materials,teaching.
