Music teaching is an important way to implement aesthetic education.The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)made it clear that we should carry out the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education,develop qualityoriented education,and train builders and successors of socialism who are well developed morally,intellectually,physically and aesthetically.At the same time,the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Education mentioned in the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving The Work of Aesthetic Education in Schools" that aesthetic education is still a weak link.The state should vigorously advocate quality-oriented education,and the status of music appreciation courses in senior high schools for the purpose of cultivating aesthetic appreciation is gradually improving.However,it is pointed out that aesthetic education in some schools is still a weak point due to objective reasons such as local and conditional restrictions.How to improve the teaching quality of music appreciation course in high school and deepen the teaching reform,etc.,The improvement of the teaching quality of music appreciation course in senior high school still needs the unremitting efforts of thousands of educators.The purpose of this research is to explore whether teaching environment,classroom teaching,teaching evaluation and other factors have an impact on the music teaching appreciation course in senior high school,and based on the possible causes of these factors,which can provide referential suggestions on how to improve the teaching effect of music appreciation course in senior high school.his research uses the method of Literature Research to compile the questionnaire ofbasic knowledge teaching of music appreciation course in Yangjiaping Middle School(student's paper/teacher's paper)and the test paper of basic knowledge of music,the data of 6 music teachers and 120 students of grade 2021 and 2022 in Yangjiaping High School were analyzed by means of Internet questionnaire and telephone interview.Through reading the "ordinary high school music curriculum standards"(2017 edition),"Music Teaching Theory","music appreciation" and the relevant documents issued by the state to provide theoretical reference for the writing of the paper.The paper divided four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the significance and basis of the research,the status quo of the research,the thinking and methods of the research.The second part is the first chapter of the paper.Through field investigation,questionnaire survey and data collation,the writer makes a comprehensive investigation on the teaching status of music appreciation course in Yangjiaping Middle School of Chongqing city from the aspects of teaching environment,classroom teaching and teaching evaluation.The third part is the second chapter of the paper,which analyzes and studies the investigation results of the current teaching situation of music appreciation course in Chongqing Yangjiaping Middle School,finds out the existing problems and influences,combs and summarizes them.The fourth part is the third chapter,according to the conclusion and the requirements of the state and the direction of the new curriculum standard,the writer reflects on the problems existing in the teaching of music appreciation in Chongqing Yangjiaping Middle School and puts forward suggestions.
