Farmers’ Distance Education Training Courses Construction And Application Based On The Internet

In2013the central first document made it clear that as the core—to cultivate new farmersand the rural practical talents,to focus on strengthening the agricultural vocational education andvocational training,to make full use of all kinds of training resources to increase the intensity ofprofessional investors and family farms operator training,to improve their production skills andmanagement level.The network distance education has many characteristics,such as interactiveteaching,extensive dissemination and large information storage.These advantages exactly suit tothe current status of Chinese farmers:huge quantity,wide distribution and large differencesbetween the basic conditions.Therefore,the network distance education has incomparableadvantages in the various forms of farmers training.Internet-based distance education of farmerstraining can improve the farmers’ cultural quality effectively,but also promote the developmentof modern agriculture.The paper is put forward under the background which is based on theShandong social and technology planning project”The research of farmers remote training newmodel based on the internet”.At present the remote training resources include Television programs produced by CABTSand video resources on the local agricultural websites.These resources greatly affect theresource utilization,because they present some problems: single manifestation,lack of system andlack of emotion.Under the Internet environment,because of its powerful functions,simpleimplementation,load balancing and other characteristics,curriculum management system hasbeen widely popular in colleges and universities.By comparing the Blackboard,Web-CT,Sakai,Moodle,we select Moodle as the platform of the farmers remote training courses construction.Itis suitable for online learning through the Internet.Moodle platform has manyadvantages,including the advanced theory,free,open source;B/S structure,goodcompatibility;Module design,easy to operate;Online evaluation function.on the basis ofcombining with the characteristics of farmers learning and training needs,this paper aims tousing the Moodle platform in the construction and application of farmers’ remote trainingcourses.This paper used the method of literature,questionnaire and system research mainly in thefollowing several aspects to do some research work. The research on the related concepts and theories of farmer distance education and Moodleplatform.The paper elaborates concepts as farmer distance education,network course,Moodleplatform and analysizes theories as adult learning theory,constructive learningtheory,instructional interaction theory.These contents provide the theoretical basis for research.Analysis of the teaching environment in farmers’ remote training.We analyze the farmers’supporting environment and the feasibility between the Moodle platform and the farmers’courses.Finally we expound the function module of Moodle platform and character design.Put forward the design model of farmers’ remote training curriculum under the Moodleplatform.Through the web-based investigation and interview,we fully understand the farmers’remote training course construction needs,and then put forward the design model of farmers’remote training curriculum.In accordance with the design ideas,we take agricultural science andtechnology for example to build farmers’ remote training courses instance.Carry out the farmers’ remote training courses in practice.In the pilot areas we put tworemote training modes to apply the Farmers’ remote training courses.Then throughquestionnaires and interviews,we learn the satisfaction of the Farmers’ remote training courses.Itspurpose is to modify the curriculums and to make them perfect.After a series of research work,the paper made some achievements.We achieve thepreliminary trying of the courses application.But the courses still exist many problems, we willcontinue to improve the courses in the later work.
