The Research Of Interesting Teaching About Children’s Chinese Textbook Chinese Paradise

The research of the interesting teaching about the Hanban educational textbookChinese Paradise is based on author’s teaching practice in three intermediate schools in theSouth Island of New Zealand. It is to investigate the effectiveness of stimulating students’interest in learning Chinese, especially in the three aspects which include the topic content,language practice activities and cultural activities. It has shown that children’s Chineseteaching materials as the representative of Chinese Paradise have a perfect teachingsystem preparation, principles of teaching interesting layout, but there is still much roomfor improvement during the actual teaching.Firstly, we should enrich teaching activities to adapt to the learners in different ages.Secondly, the Chinese cultural teaching content should be enriched and the culturalteaching approach should be increased to form a language and culture closely integratedteaching mode. Thirdly, every part in one unit should be arranged reasonably by the degreeof difficulty. What’s more, the Chinese textbook should be designed with regionalcharacteristics. Last but not the least, more and more internet resource access should becreated to augment the teaching resources.
