The Requirements Of The Rural Empty Nester And Study On The Intervention Of Social Work

With the rapid development of urbanization, a massive of rural labor force flow-out,rural empty nester also increased. Because they are not around children or no children,the elderly pension when needed "family umbrella" weakened, In addition to its in aweak state, no other support network can be used as a substitute, many of the demand cannot be met, thus causing the problems.Social work is a profession and occupation from the introduction to the westernsociety, It treats helping people to help themselves and equal justice professional valuesas the guide, integrated use of professional theory、knowledge and skills, by means ofcase work、group work and community work method，help individuals、families、groupsand communities, integrate social resources, coordinate social relations, to solve thesocial problems, to promote human development and social harmony and stability.This article takes T village in Qianshan, Anhui province as the example, by applyingthe theories and methods of social work, studying the rural empty nester problem. Fieldsurveys were conducted firstly, demand status of the empty nester in T village, then therelated resources on T village was evaluated, based on the application of group work andcase work methods, some suggestions are put forward to solve the rural empty nesterproblems.
