Malaysia’s standard one Chinese textbook and China’s standard one Chinese textbookare used as daily language class learning materials for the primary students. Both arecategories as native language learning. Due to both countries have different level ofachievement for the primary Chinese learning, therefore both learning materials aredifferent in how the contents are organised, the richness of contents, quantity of words tobe learned and the choice of recognise and writing of words. This thesis tries to analysefour of the differences that are mention previously and discuss the similarity and non-similarity which might jeopardise the first language learner. This thesis will also analysewhich of the learning materials are much suitable for primary students to learn Chinese in abetter sequence. In addition, the learning materials are also requiring matching the primarystudents’ psychology in learning Chinese. Through this thesis, it can provide somesuggestions to all the teachers especially those who teach primary students. Therefore,primary native language learner can achieve distinction results.
