Biology is the science based on experiment and inquiry experiment is of vitalimportance. To effectively carry out such teaching can motivate the students’ interest onbiology learning, cultivate their exploring capability and scientific attitude andencourage their creativity. It also reflects the concept of life-long development of thestudents. This subject is directed by the new course concept and takes ConstructivismLearning and Such man Inquiry Model as theory bases. Using teaching practice,documents and investigations, it tries to study the high school biology inquiryexperiment teaching.The study indicates that the teaching can improve the students’ exploringcapability and their interest in biology learning; it also contributes to their schoolrecords and creativity. Meanwhile, this study provides samples for further high schoolinquiry teaching and accumulates relevant experience.
