Research On The Problems In The Development Of The Private Basic Education In Zhengzhou

Private basic education in Zhengzhou started at the end of1970s. After30years of development, it has become an indispensable part of basic education, which has made a great contribution to the optimal allocation of educational resources, the maintenance of the education fairness, and the diversification of social demand for education, as well as the protection of migrant children’s education right etc. However, under the double influence of the external environment and the internal contradictions, the private basic education in Zhengzhou has faced many problems and difficulties in the process of development for a long time. Therefore it is of great significance to study the problems and countermeasures of the development of Zhengzhou private basic education.This paper studies the development of private basic education in Zhengzhou City in-depth and also explores the countermeasures to promote its development, on the basis of the collected data and combined with the personal experience and knowledge of the author in the private school, also based on the relevant theories, ideas, and methods of pedagogy, educational economics and management, psychology and law, using literature research, interview survey and comparative analysis and other research methods,At the beginning of this paper, the development history of Zhengzhou private basic education is reviewed, and it is divided into the four stages of initial exploration, rapid development, adjustment and standardization, consolidation and improvement. The current development status and the characteristics are also summarized. And then the various difficulties, problems and factors affecting its survival and development are taken into consideration and analyzed. The unfavorable factors of the external environment include:policies and regulations lack and lag, the implementation of policies and regulations are not in place, government administration is imperfect and social prejudice and excessive competition exists. The problems of private schools include low management level of the leaders, shortage of funds, non-standard charge, relatively weak faculty building, enrollment stress and imperfect management of teaching, students, and brand, etc. Finally, Combining the plans for education development of our country and the demands for private basic education of today’s society, the analysis and prospects for future development of Zhengzhou private basic education are made, and suggestions are also made from the national level and the private basic education school itself:government should attach importance to private basic education and improve public management awareness, improve and implement the relevant laws and policies, strengthen the support and optimize its management, complete the education development plan and make the development orientation clear; the private basic education schools should make development plans and strive to create brands, standardize internal management, reinforce a stable and qualified teaching force, improve teaching quality. At the same time, this paper also analyses the prospects of the development of Zhengzhou private basic education in future and gives different suggestions to the private basic education schools at different levels: the schools with relatively strong strength should take the high-quality education development road, strive to build a school curriculum with feature, create multicultural atmosphere, realize internationalization of students, and achieve export-oriented training goals; the private schools at low level and schools for children of migrant workers should enhance their own strength, improve teaching quality, provide up to the national standard education service for the society, so as to gain a firm foothold in the fierce competition in the market.
