A new basic education curriculum reform is now under its way throughthe whole country and it is prevailing among teachers and students. Thisround of curriculum reform not only requires teachers to change theirteaching ideas but also requires teachers and students to changelong-established single traditional teaching and learning method. At the sametime, it also provides conditions and space to the improvement of the teachersand students. Therefore, the current round of curriculum reform is both achallenge and a rare opportunity for the majority of teachers and students todevelop and improve themselves.“The outline of basic education curriculum reform” says that we shouldchange the trend of paying too much attention to the imparting of knowledgeand stress the forming of active learning attitude. We should promote studentsto participate actively, explore willingly and practice diligently. We shoulddevelop students’ ability of collecting and processing information, the abilityof achieving new knowledge, the ability of analyzing and solving problems aswell as the ability of communicating and cooperating. According to theconcept of the new curriculum and with the combination of “physicscurriculum standard”, carrying out experimental learning teachingmethodology is a transformation, enrichment and perfection of traditionalteaching and learning methodology in junior high school physics teaching.For this reason, I make an elementary exploration and attempt to theexperimental learning methodology in junior high school physics teaching.And from this I find out that the experimental learning methodology is abrand new concept. It permeates in the whole process of junior high schoolphysics learning, embodies the spirit of new curriculum standard’s focusingon the subjectivity of students.This paper consists of seven parts. The first second and third part elaborate the research background ofexperimental learning, analyze the research status of experimental learning athome and abroad and expound theoretical basis of experimental learning injunior high school physics.In the fourth part, according to the actual situation, I did a researchdesign about experimental subject, experimental materials and experimentaltools of experimental learning in junior high school physics.In the fifth part, I elaborate the strategy of experimental learning injunior high school physics with the combination of my practice teaching.In the sixth part, I think deeply about the problems in the teachingprocess of experimental learning from the aspects of the design of teachingaims in experimental learning, the relation between experimental learningteaching and traditional teaching, the classroom arrangement of experimentallearning teaching and how to evaluate students in experimental learningteaching.In the seventh part, I put forward my suggestions towards the problemsin experimental learning teaching with the combination of my practiceteaching.
