In the autumn of2004, Shandong, Hainan, Ningxia and Guangdongare the first to begin the new curriculum experiment, pulled open thecurtain of the new curriculum reform. Inner Mongolia has started a newcourse reform. Wuhai is a remote city in Inner Mongolia, backwardeducational philosophy, thinking slow updating, the economic and culturaldevelopment is relatively backward. As the new curriculum reform after theperformer, we should learn from the experience of developed areas, but alsowith local actual situation, foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, wecan be successfully carried out the new curriculum reform. Class teachingreform is the focus of the reform of the new curriculum, as a teachingmethod, effective teaching has been increasingly applied in the teachingpractice and becomes an important supplement to the traditional teaching inthe form of a kind of new situation.By consulting the literature,"Effective Teaching" in the junior highschool chemistry is analyzed and the meaning of the status is explained inthe paper. Through a questionnaire survey to ascertain the current status of junior high school chemistry teaching, the factors that influence theeffectiveness of classroom teaching are analyzed, and these factors includeteacher factors and student factors. For practical problems and summarizesseveral years of teaching experience, proposed junior high school chemistryeffective teaching strategies, these strategies include classroom teaching howto seize the best opportunity to carry out small problems inquiry learning, thecreation of classroom teaching climax, to create a good atmosphere in theclassroom students’ psychological aspects; And select some typical teachingcases in which the specific content and implementation process have beenelaborated. From the questionnaire survey feedback and summary of a seriesof activities, the author together with the whole school chemistry teachers inthe third chemical launched a "Effective Teaching" teaching practice in lasttwo years. The results show that: the effective implementation of teaching,students’ interests can be better stimulated, good study habits can be broughtup, quality of classroom can be improved significantly, students’ autonomyand cooperation can be enhanced, students’ scientific literacy and learningability can be improved. The above results indicate that "effective teaching"has certain advantages for the smooth progress and played an important role in the new curriculum reform.
