How toeffectively use a textbook to improve this kind of ability, is the significance ofthis study lies. Since early twentieth Century the European teaching scientificculture proposed the idea of effective teaching, has received extensiveattention, its main content is the teaching is a teacher a random, full ofpersonality teaching way, he is concerned about how to promote students’learning and not let the students describe the learning.The purpose of this paper is to own teaching practice to explore effectiveteaching under the new course standard of high school Chinese electivetextbook "Applied Linguistics". As the middle school language teachingmaterial in the first and only book about the application of the languageteaching material, it introduced the inject fresh blood into the Chineseteaching material, the teaching of Chinese, but also brought a lot of confusionin the use of. Especially as the elective textbook, curriculum standard is strictin teaching time, teaching is completed in eight weeks, so in a short period of time how to effective teaching became teachers must consider the problem. In the teaching arrangements and alsoaccording to the contents of teaching different focus. In the teaching of theform to the novel, effective, based on the traditional class type, organize thestudents through a variety of activities to understand and master the use oflanguage, such as debates, poetry contest, the poetic couplet, writing contestetc..
