Based on the human-oriented Educational Idea, the basic education curriculum reformtakes the cultivation of integrative diathesis and ability as the symbol of success scored inclassroom teaching activities. As an organic part of classroom teaching activities, muchattention had been paid on the Educational function of classroom management activities. Butin the practice of junior high school geography classroom management, the teachers almostaffected by the traditional education idea, they attached importance to the education ofknowledge but made light of the training of student’s ability and development. Thesetendencies not only affect the cultivation and improvement of students’ geography subjectability, but also weaken the influences of students’ ability construction in geographycurriculum. So, we have to carry out research on the geography classroom management.This study selects the region of middle school geography teachers and students as theobject of study,uses the literature research method, questionnaire method, interview method,classroom observation and other research forms to collect practical information and date.According to the Humanism learning theory, Constructivism theory and Optimization theoryof teaching process, this study analyzed the characteristics of middle school geographysubject ability structure, analyzed the impact of classroom management activities on thecultivation of students’ ability, and explored the principles of classroom management and thecorresponding implementation strategy.This study is divided into four parts: part1, introduction: overview of the reason,purpose, ideas,methods and meaning. At the same time, this study sort out the researchresults from home and abroad, and make the main content and purpose clear. Part2: the studyhas discussed the connotation of ability and classroom management, analyzed anddeconstructed the characteristics of geography subject ability, presented the theoretical basisof this study. Part3: The study makes attribution analysis on the existing problems in themanagement of junior high school geography classroom by the description and reflection of the current situation of middle school geography classroom management at the present stage.Part4: the study proposed the principles of geography classroom management, and putforward the classroom management strategies based on the geography subject ability structureand usefully to the training of students’ ability.The study focused on the investigation of the reality of classroom management problems,and the classroom management strategies useful to students’ academic ability development.Not only laid the foundation for the realization of the target of the new curriculum for thegeography teaching, but also offers some operable suggestions for the vast number of teachersare effective classroom management.
