Research On The Performance Of Foreign Aid Of Beijing Jinyu Team In The2011-2012Chinese Male Basketball League

In season of2011-2012, Beijing Jinyu Team won its first champion of itshistory dating back to its taking part in China Basketball Association,inwhich foreign aids’excellent performance played a very important role. Thepurpose of this thesis is to make some comparisons on the performance ofBeijing Jinyu Team and that of other teams, to analyze the effect of BeijingJinyu Team’s winning on the occupation spirit, to find out the features,advantages and disadvantages of foreign aids and how they play an active partin the team’s winning, so that other teams can learn a lesson from all theabove on how to take advantage of foreign aids to improve their actual strength.Research methodologies of documents searching, video tape analyzing,mathematical statics, logic analyzing have been used in this thesis to analyzethe performance of the two foreign aids in season of2011-2012and severalconclusions have been drawn as followings.Firstly, in respect to the offensive skills, the two foreign aids havestrong competence of scoring, they were efficient in stadium and both the mainhigh-percentage players of the team. Marbury’s two-point shot and Morris’sfree throw are especially stand out. On offensive rebound, Marbury performsexcellently, makes few mistakes and is good at producing fouls while Morrisperforms commonly.In respect to the skills of defense, Morris has a highcomprehensive defense ability and outperformance on defensive rebound, stealand block. Marbury outstands on steal and few fouls. However, the two foreignaids still have some shortcomings, such as Marbury’s three-point shot, freethrow and rebound are imperfect, Morris’s two-point shot, offensivecompetence is ongoing and to be improved, Morris should decrease unnecessaryerrors and fouls.Secondly, in respect to the offensive tactics, Marbury and Morrisoutperformance on assist compared with other foreign aids, but they are fastbreak shot percentage need to be improved. On tactical coordination, the twoforeign players cooperate very well, rank high in individual tactics level,and the features of cooperating on tactics basis which have beencomprehensively applied outstand.To some extent make up for the deficienciesof the shooting. But they are still lack of the tactical coordination of thewhole team, peer’s support and cover awareness is not strong in offensive. Thirdly, the two foreign aids of Beijing Jinyu Team have superb skills,excellent leaders and strong wills, which plays an indispensable role inarousing the morale of the native players in Beijing.
