The Research About The Possibility Of The Sport Public Welfare Project "Go The Distance" On The Part Of Primary School In Rural

Nowadays, it is more and more popular to make combine with sports and publicwelfare. The sports welfare named “Go The Distance” is one of the mostcharacteristic among them. It’s different from other sports public welfare as they arenow, and “Go The Distance” has emphasized on sports, which makes full use of bodyexercise and the function of sports to reach the goal of public welfare, to makebalance of PE resource by public welfare activities.The research methods of literature, questionnaire, scene investigation,mathematicalstatistics,case study etc, and choose rural primary school such as Sichuan, Yunnan,Qinghai, Ningxia as the research object, which is appointed by theChina foundation for poverty alleviation. The research has tried to discuss thepossibility of execute this project. And it also choose “Pengyang primary school as acase, which is located in Cao Miao town, Peng Yang, Ningxia city”. So we canprovide the basis for those area to support to PE activities and sports public welfare.Here are the results:（1）According to the survey, the number of part-time PE teachers of primary andmiddle school in rural area is much more than the full-time PE teacher in Qinghai,Ningxia, Sichuan, Yunnan. The proportion between teacher and student conform tothe relevant provisions of the country, which is called <<On strengthening theconstruction of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools>>. Themain problem of PE in the rural primary school is: the absence of PE book, and itcan’t meet teacher’s requires; the PE class is placed by other subjects. And physicalactivities is ignored.（2）The primary schools in the rural area have the extracurricular activities anddouble long class break., which can meet the “Go The Distance”, and also providesthe possibility to enlarge this kind of sports public welfare.（3）”Go The Distance” has possibility in80rural “hoping primary school” inQinghai, Ningxia, Sichuan and Yunnan. The project and school have many commondemands. The attempt in the Pengyang primary school, Ningxia city has beensuccessful. And the “Go The Distance” can be a part of PE class, to promote students’physical quality, forming habit of exercise, studying sports skill, all of above has beensuccessful at a certain degree. The donate to this project can provide the money andtools, which meet the need of teaching, and promote the situation of PE class in theseschools, also the teachers’ salary. The project have the possibility to be done in all theaspect.（4）“Go The Distance” adopts “running” as the main means, And students in ballgames, martial arts and other choice does not match. （5）School sees the sports public welfare as the main form of PE, which can helpforming good atmosphere in school, also help promoting other courses.
