As the teaching situation of inspection for physical education specialty, body health andArt Department of the Ministry of education and the National University Sports TeachingSteering Committee held the first contest in1997, so far, basic skills competition has beensuccessfully held six sessions, during which the project settings, competition is morereasonable, the rules more perfect, but contest "technical" light "to" the phenomenon isserious. In2003the Ministry of Education issued a "national ordinary college sportseducation undergraduate programs" requirements, professional sports education intwenty-first Century will comply with the requirements of the times to cultivate talents ofphysical education complex. In order to test the teaching results, Liaoning province held thefirst contest, contest is divided into four types (basic theoretical knowledge, practical skills,professional skills, professional and technical) a number of events, this study probed in fourcategories and ten small projects in various colleges and universities gap and the insufficiency,aim training from teachers to help the college with its own characteristics.72students in6universities in this study to participate in basic skills competition inLiaoning Province as the research object, carries on the analysis using the method of literature,survey method, mathematical statistics method, layers of different schools, different gender infour categories (basic theoretical knowledge, practical skills, professional skills, professionaltechnology) differences between the ten small projects, the main draw the followingconclusions:(1) the basic skills competition can basically reflect the sports education specializedstudents teaching ability, but the competition still exists some problems: one is the number ofselection,1/3players is one of the institutions optional recommendation; two is to prepare fora long time, consumption of manpower, material and financial resources, in addition, the lackof suitable; future from skill gymnastics teaching.(2) due to the traditional ideas of education and professional, basic theoretical knowledgeof all the students to grasp the situation is not optimistic. Colleges are influenced by the overall level of management mechanism, the quality of students and teachers, results revealdifferences.Shenyang Sport University and Liaoning Normal University the Anshan NormalUniversity outstanding performance; more prominent in the competition of basketball refereeand comprehensive, but the multimedia production and sports game weaker; DalianUniversity in basketball than other projects on integrated process, the advantage was notobvious; Shenyang Normal University in addition to better in sports games and multimediacourseware, professional technical achievement is weak; and the Shenyang University did nothighlight the project, the project achievements rank.(3) male and female students because of physiology, psychology and the differentinfluence of traditional culture, although there was no significant difference in the fourthcategory, but the boys in the professional technical score better than the girls; in specificprojects, the girls except in Applied Writing significantly better than boys, jump far andbasketball shooting project significantly better than girls, boys.(4) because of the comprehensive ability of the long jump and the skill requirements ofthe strong, therefore, the occasional large achievements.
