With the development of the information age, students need to improve theirlearning abilities constantly to adapt the high requirements of the society for talents.So learning to learn has obviously become an essential skill. The Outline of the NewCurriculum Reformation points that we should improve the learning effectivenesswith self-directed learning、cooperative learning and inquiry learning. During theinformation technology teaching, how to apply learning chances for students tolearning all kinds of abilities as much as possible, how to solve the problems existedin students’ learning with different styles are getting more and more attention fromthe people. Based on the above summaries, the paper starts form the junior middleschool students’ learning styles in information technology class, based on thequestionnaires on their learning styles and teachers’ interview, analyze the differenceswhen students using different learning styles, reveal the main problems in teachingclass, and then raise the resolution strategies to these problems. The author hopes thatthese strategies can play a guidance for the future teaching of information technology.Using a number of research methods, including literature analysis, questionnairemethod, interviewing method. The author has done some research work with students’learning style in information technology’s learning from the following aspects:(1)Collecting、sorting and summing up the related materials, elaborating therepresentative definitions about learning styles defined by different scholars indifferent countries and different schools, and raise the author’s own view about it.Also, the author summarizes the research status at home and abroad. (2)Analyzing the theories about the self-directed learning、cooperative learning andinquiry learning, introducing their definitions、characteristics and theoretical bases,characteristics and classification of learning style and the relationship betweenlearning style and teaching style.(3)On the basis of theoretical analysis,the author make a questionnaire surveyabout learning styles on part of students in No.2Middle School of Shandong NormalUniversity and Quancheng Middle School, and analyzes the obtained databases.(4) The author makes an interview with the information technology teachers in No.2Middle School of Shandong Normal University, reveals the main problems and raisesthe strategies to these problems.The future work is to put these strategies in class teaching, On the basis of thecontinuous improvement of information technology class, strengthen students’ skillsto solve practical problems with information technology, and improve theirinformation literacy.
