With the rapid development of information technology and mobilecommunication technology, mobile learning as a new learning style, more and morepeople favor, mainly for the learners to use mobile devices for learning whenever andwherever possible, to meet their learning needs. It is a lifelong education and learninga way of learning background, plays an important role in the future education.However, in the current, based on literature investigation and study, the design ofmobile learning activities did not receive enough attention, There are somedeficiencies of the specific design of many mobile learning activities. Therefore, howto design effective mobile learning activities, in order to promote learning, mobilelearning effect, has become a hot topic of current domestic and international researchin the field of mobile learning.In this study, design and activity theory of learning activities on the basis of thisstatus quo, the main line of research focused on the following three aspects:First, by carding a lot of literature, this study’s research background elaborate,summed up the status quo of domestic and international research on mobile learningand activities designed to generalize about the two hot spots and shortcomings fromexisting research, which provides goal-oriented research to discover this topic. On thisbasis, an explanation of important concepts related to this study, at the same time, thecore elements of the content of this study, research ideas and research methods aredescribed.Second, the research activity theory as the theoretical basis of the analysis of therelationship between elements of the mobile learning activities, build a hierarchicalmodel of mobile learning activities designed activities under the guidance of thetheory, the model of the dynamic relationship between the elements and processmodel and specific analysis of the various stages of the mobile learning activities designed. Activity theory as a guide, combined with the characteristics of mobilelearning activities designed mobile learning activities based on activity theory sixprinciples: first, to reflect the intermediary of mobile technology in mobile learningactivities; Second, the focus on mobile learning situational activities; emphasize theunity of the learning activities inside and outside the process; fourth, to ensure theintegrity of the design of mobile learning activities; fifth, double constructiveemphasis on mobile learning activities; sixth, embodied learning initiative in mobilelearning activities. Follow the above principles, on the basis of the build processmodels, combined with modern distance education course in teaching design thecontent of this unit designed mobile learning activities, based on activity theory anddetailed design based on the process model specific teaching practice.Finally, after the mobile learning activities, the use of a questionnaire andin-depth interview conducted a scientific analysis and summary of the design andimplementation of mobile learning activities. Summarize the results from the analysispoint of view, the design and implementation of the activities under the guidance ofthe theory of mobile learning activities effectively, also showed that the activitytheory as a theory of mobile learning activities designed support is effective. Outlookof the follow-up study of the subject, I can learn the method, to mobile learningactivities designed to further improve the application of theory and practice.
