Corporate social work is a new topic of research in social work practice, usingprofessional concepts and methods of social work in the enterprise to service employeesplays an important role in coordinating internal staff relations and shaping the corporateculture. With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the developing of market economy,enterprises of China are stepping towards the road of modernization, the staff is becomingthe main body of the enterprise day by day, the importance of employee relationshipmanagement is being recognized. In order to coordinate staff relationship and guide theestablishment of a positive work environment, social work intervention in employeerelationship management is imperative. However, theory and practice in the field ofenterprise social work research is relatively weak. In this condition, the author conducted a4months practice survey in a small private company A in Suzhou. In this paper, the authoruses survey methods such as questionnaires, unstructured interviews and participantobservation to collect relevant data, develops the employee assistance programs based onsurvey data, carry out case counseling and group work, and combines the professionaltheory and practice to explore intervention model that fits local private enterprises.
