The innovation of P.E. teaching methods has been a top priority of the university P.E. curriculum reform. With "multiple feedback" as the main line and based on information theory, control theory and system theory, the research made the undergraduates of a P.E. college as study object and applied "Multi-feedbacks Teaching Method" to swimming teaching to perform teaching experiment. Research on the influence of "Multi-feedbacks Teaching Method" on students’ learning motivation, interest in physical exercise and academic record of swimming provided informative experimental data and reference basis for college P.E. curriculum reform, and contributed to the improvement of the quality of swimming teaching. This study is a field experimental study, using the method of teaching experiments. The independent variable of the experiment is Multi-feedbacks Teaching Method, the dependent variables are learning motivation, learning interest, effect evaluation of swimming teaching, final test score of swimming at the end of the semester, and swimming technical level measurement at the end of the semester. The control variables are the threshold swimming technical level of the experimental group and the control group, the fitness level of the experimental group and the control group, the teaching plans, teaching contents, teaching schedule, venues and equipments of the experimental group and the control group, and the teachers’coaching level of the experimental group and the control group. In the first week of the experiment, I delivered the "questionnaire of college students learning motivation in the general course of swimming" and the "Y-BOCS of college students’ sports study interest level" to the experimental group and the control group to conduct a pretest. During the process of the experiment, I intervened with the experimental group by Multi-Feedbacks Teaching Method, and left the control group alone without any intervention using conventional teaching methods. By the previous week of the swimming test, I issued the "questionnaire of college students learning motivation in the general course of swimming", the "Y-BOCS of college students’ sports study interest level" and the" teaching effect evaluation questionnaire" to the experimental group and the control group to make a post-testing.After a semester of teaching experiments, the results show that there are significant differences in the learning motivation, P.E. learning interest, teaching effect and the swimming technical assessment of the experimental group and the control group. However, the experimental group and the control group had no significant difference in-the final academic records.Given the above findings, the conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) After the teaching experiment, there are great differences in the learning motivation, learning interest, teaching effect evaluation, swimming technical assessment and student attendance between the experimental group and the control group, which shows that the Multi-Feedbacks Teaching Method can effectively improve students’ learning motivation, learning interest and swimming skills.(2) There is no remarkable difference in the final examination scores between the experimental group and the control group, which illustrates that the swimming technique will be improved no matter what teaching method is adopted, on condition that the teaching period, teaching content, teaching venues, equipments and the teachers’ level are consistent. But the difference in swimming technical level and student attendance is great between the experimental group and the control group. The teaching venue of this experiment is a professional swimming pool, with water temperature be adjusted in accordance with the standards for competition. The water temperature is controlled in23-24centigrade,10centigrade lower than the normal body temperature, thus leading certain difficulties to teaching. The higher attendance of the experimental group declares that Multi-Feedbacks Teaching Method can stimulate students’ interest in learning. Students still adhere to the school even in difficult conditions.(3) In the teaching experiment, owning to its multiple feedback time, multiple feedback form and multiple feedback communication object, Multifactor Feedback Teaching is able to keep abreast of the students’ master of technical movements, and effectively improve and regulate the teaching process according to the feedback information.
