At present, the sports teaching reform is in full swing, especially sports teaching method innovation, the contents of the physical education teaching reform has some impact. In teaching in colleges and universities exist the following problems:tennis technical difficulty of learning requires a lot of energy and material resources, less class hour, in the common course for the college tennis teaching is difficult, resulting in a loss of teaching effect; In the actual teaching of each sport class is less, in the absence of basic students it is difficult to have in-depth knowledge of sports, along with course assignments, and other students after school life rich and colorful, to make the students master the movement technology and theory of knowledge of time to reduce, it is more difficult to learn; Because the student in the physical quality and ability level is uneven, master the movement technology ability is different. Therefore, at present, in the common course for the college sports professional tennis teaching effect is not ideal, from the perspective of teaching methods discussed teaching effect has a certain theoretical value and practical significance.This paper takes the application of grasp teaching method in the tennis common course in the Sports Science College in Harbin Normal University as a case study. The subjects are the physical education majors of 2014 in two natural classes in Sports Institute of Harbin Normal University. The author employs the method of documents and materials, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, and the methods of teaching experiment method, on the basis of the teaching idea of "people-oriented, according to their aptitude", combined relevant theoretical knowledge, studies the teaching effect of the grasp teaching in higher normal education in the common course for the professional tennis.The experimental results show that:1.The teaching experiment research shows,Implement grasp teaching method and traditional teaching method, both can effectively improve students'tennis forehand and backhand shots technical level within a certain amount of time, but the effect of the traditional teaching method is more significant.2.Students has a high recognition to grasp teaching method. Grasp teaching method and traditional teaching method both can improve the tennis forehand and backhand shot technology application ability of students in a short time, but grasp teaching method can improve the students' cooperation ability, too.3. The application of grasp teaching method, can effectively improve students'ability of finding problems and the ability of solving problems in the process of learning tennis forehand and backhand shot ability.4. Performance in the tennis match, by contrast, whether in students grasp teaching method "adjust", and "choice", grasp teaching method has a significant effect, while the traditional teaching method in the aspect of "technology" has a significant effect.5.That the application of grasp teaching method in the learning in the tennis common course for the college sports specialty, contributes to the cultivation of the students' learning interest and learning initiative and enthusiasm, and improves the learning to lay a good foundation for sports practice.
