Research On Information And Resource Management Of Digital Libraries Of Universites

With the rapid development of information technology, the construction of University Digital Library in China, as a new stage of library construction, is full of the spirit of the times. With the various and complicated information resources of digital information age, it is of great importance to study how the information resources should beanagement theories to the management of information and resources of digital libraries in universities. First, it defined the scope of information and resources of digital libraries in Chinese universities from the concept of the management of information and resources, and then analyzed the necessity, principles and strategies. On this basis, this paper combined the technology of information and process reengineering, then systematically enacted the flow, the management of business, production and services.According to the systematic research and analysis of the theories, strategies and methods of the information and resources management of digital libraries in universities, and the case study of the digital libraries of Anhui University, this paper analyzed the current system of its management. After theoretical study and research, it systematically listed the implementation plans of information and resources management of digital libraries of Anhui University, and pointed out the strengths and weakness. In the end, in order to improve the management level of the information and resources of the digital libraries in Chinese universities, in the light of existing problems of the DL information and resources management of Chinese universities, this paper has put forward some strategic suggestions for the information and resources management. Hopefully, the outcome of this paper can provide practical references for the improvement of the management level of information and resources in Chinese universities and better serve the teaching, scientific research and management.By the method of comparative analysis and case analysis, and according to the theories and practice of information management,this paper has developed the framework of the management and research information and resources of digital libraries in Chinese universities, the existing problems of which has also been discussed. This is main contribution and innovation made by this paper.
