The Investigation On Education Situation Of Children Of Migrant Workers In A Certain High School Of Hefei Economic And Technological Development Zone

The author has taken advantage of the work to make a investigation on the daily life of Children of migrant workers in a certain high school of Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone(HETDZ), and has known something about the situations of the family education and school education among these children of migrant workers. According to the investigation, the group of these children of migrant workers occupies quite a few proportion of the students of HETDZ. The families of these children are not good enough. On the one hand, because of reasons for their parents’income, their accommodation, diet and transportation are in worse condition compared with the native residents’children. On the other hand, their parents get less education, so they spend most of their time making a living so that they have less time to educate their children. Meanwhile, the parents of these children seldom communicate with their children’s teachers as well as the schools where their children study. In addition to some other reasons, many children of migrants of workers appear a bad tendency in study and social adjustment. Combining the problems which the children of migrant of workers face up to, the investigation report aims at exploring the possibility that school social work gets involved in their study and lives, and finds out the ways which solve the problems of theirs. At the same time, we can try our best to look for more social resources and form "power" from family, school, and society and so on to provide care and support for children of migrant of workers validly.
